We Heart Collective

• We Heart Winter
  An exhibition which celebrated our love for the frostier months of the year. I shared the exhibition space with 12 fantastically talented ladies who work within various branches of design and creative medias.

• We Heart Paper
  Our first exhibition which included 10 female designers, all staff and alumni of QCA Gold Coast. We celebrated paper as a rich medium with its own life and unique chracteristics.

Publications

• Semi Permanent Book
  Semi-Permanent is a world leading design conference that to date has hosted 26 events in 9 cities, covering 5 countries, with 164 speakers and over 42,000 attendees. The Semi-Permanent Book is a showcase of creative talent from around the world. An inspirational publication that allows attendees to take a little part of Semi-Permanent home with them. I was fortunate enough to be a selected creative included in the book.

• Design Federation Annual
  I was selected as one of the designers included in the print debut of the Design Federation. The book serves as a striking visual showcase of the community in a beautiful, full-colour inspiration book. The theme of the book was “1” to celebrate the first book of its kind and demonstrate Design Federation’s solidarity with the Aussie design community.

• Gold Coast Creative Vol 1, 2010
  I designed the cover for this annual publication celebrating the cultural and creative growth of the Gold Coast.

• Comfortable Shoes Only
  In July 2009, a group of QCA students and staff went to Prague for three weeks to document aspects of the Czech Republic, before and after the fall of Communism. The resulting works were exhibited at the Lightspace Gallery in Brisbane from the 19th until the 23rd of October 2009. The book colated the works from the various disciplines into one volume.

  A catalogue of work from graduating students of the Bachelor Visual Media degree at Queensland College of Art, Gold Coast in 2009.

• Studio Town Graduate Catalogue 2008
  A catalogue of work from graduating students of the Bachelor Visual Media degree at Queensland College of Art, Gold Coast in 2008.

Design Work (AKA The Good Stuff)

• Freelance Design for Gold Coast City Council (2011 ongoing)
  Designing collateral for a community campaign including logo, posters, flyers and associated collateral.

• Freelance Design Stoked On Design, Burleigh Heads (2011 ongoing)
  Stoked on design is a full service graphic design agency based on the gold coast and delivering quality graphic design solutions to clients in australia and internationally.

• Freelance Design Gold Coast Graphic Design (2010-2011)
  I had the opportunity to liase directly with clients on a range of print and digital media including Logos; business cards; stationary and company colateral; web templates; flyers and brochures.

• Freelance Liveworm Gold Coast (2008-2010)
  My experience in Liveworm, Gold Coast included a more eclectic mix of work including web-design; art exhibition invitations and catalogues; poster and publication design.

Griffith University

• Sessional Teaching (2009-2011 ongoing)
  I've taught several subjects in the Bachelor of Digital Media Degree at Griffith University including basic web design/development; typography and motion graphics; a first year introduction to the Graphic Design discipline and softwares.

  6 months on the sales floor followed by about 8 months in BOH inventory goodness counting and cataloguing endless amounts of stuff.

Actual Education

• Bachelor of Digital Media Honors (2009-2010)
  This is where I got to focus on theoretical and practical research in Album Art Design.

• Bachelor Visual Media(2006-2008)
  I majored in Graphic Design with special electives in Drawing and 3D design.

• High School(2000-2005)
  That's right, I was in school of some kind from the age of 5-22 without a gap. Go team me. I did the usual highschool thing and did pretty well at it.
